While not formally Festival events, St. Michael's Basilica is doing its part by serving the community and giving it an opportunity to celebrate the important role that faith played in the lives of all those who settled the Miramichi.
On the Saturday morning the parish offers a full breakfast at reasonable prices to parade participants and spectators.
Those wanting a full breakfast before heading out on the St. Margaret's heritage tour on the Sunday morning might also consider the parish breakfast.
Join in the celebration of your Irish heritage at the special Irish Mass that the parish organizes on the occasion of the festival.
We'll keep you posted on details of the liturgy as these become available.
In the meantime, if you are available to help with preparations for the liturgy, click here to let us know. It would be nice to have the liturgical homage to those that settled the region make reference to the early Flynn settlers.
